Perth Scottish Rally 1996
The third round of the 1996 Mobil 1/Top Gear RACMSA British Rally Championship:
An International event comprising 140 stage miles (20 Special Stages)
and 510 miles of linking public roads in Scotland on 31st May and 1st June.
This event is also a round of:
- The FIA European Rally Championship for Drivers (co-efficient 5)
- The FIA European Rally Cup for Drivers
- The Scottish Rally Championship
There are 3 subsidiary events:
- the Perth Scottish National Rally,
classes 11-14 run over the Saturday stages,
and class 15 (LandRovers) runs over the whole event
- the Perth Scottish Historic Rally,
running on stages 1 to 6, 8 to 11 (the Friday stages)
- the Perth Scottish Formula 1300 Rally
(a round of the Formula 1300 Championship), running on the Saturday stages.
